Karina Ladyhin was born and raised in the Ukraine and migrated to the United States along with her family in 2003. Karina's passion was always in health care and as a child she dreamed about becoming a doctor. In order to see if this career was right for her, she decided to volunteer at a local hospital and shadow nurses and doctors while helping patients with basic needs. That experience changed Karina's perspective and she realized that working on hands with patients was something that she did not want to pursue as her career. But Karina was persistent with finding a career in health care. After doing some research, she decided to pursue her career in Healthcare Administration which required medical termination knowledge, but the job would be from an office and not with patients directly. After graduating from DeVry University in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Management, Karina started her career working in HR for a Home Health Agency. After a short period of time, Karina was promoted to a supervisor.
This experience working in the healthcare field as a supervisor and as a medical biller has given Karina many open doors and ideas about starting something on her own. Karina has a large family which mostly does not speak English, so they would always reach out to her for help with filling out applications and translating services. After helping her family and friends for several years, Karina gained a lot of knowledge in different types of applications including immigration and government programs. Karina’s passion in helping others in this field has given her the idea to start KLear Consulting and expand her services to the public. While still working at the Home Health Care Agency, Karina started traveling to her clients after office hours and slowly started gaining her clientele.
After 7 years, Karina decided to open her own office, where clients now come to Karina for services. Karina has two small children and enjoys being a full time mother. And being fully self employed gives her the flexibility to enjoy motherhood while working at the same time.
